How do I know if ABA is right for my child?

That is one of the most important questions you can ask — and the honest answer is that ABA is not the right fit for every child or every family, and we will never pressure you into services that do not feel right.

ABA tends to be a strong fit when a child or individual is working on building communication, social, adaptive, or daily living skills — or when there are behaviors that are significantly impacting their safety or quality of life. It works best when the family is an active partner in the process and when the approach is genuinely individualized to the person.

The best way to find out if Beyond the Box is the right fit for your family is simply to talk to us. We offer a no pressure consultation where we can learn about your child, answer your questions honestly, and help you figure out together whether this is the right next step. If we are not the right fit, we will tell you — and we will do our best to point you toward someone who is.
